About the studio
A systemic method,
turned into usable products.
FRÉDÉRIC ARMINOT Labs designs digital products for recurring human difficulties - situations in which people often know that something is wrong, yet keep reproducing responses that fail to change it.
01 - Understand
Understand what maintains the problem.
Understanding does not mean finding a single hidden cause. It means observing the present-day loop.
What happens first? How does the person respond? What does the other person, the body, the environment or the situation do next? Which attempted solutions keep being repeated - and what happens because of them?
This is the working logic behind the studio: make the interaction visible enough to become changeable.
02 - Change
Change the response, not the biography.
Change means interrupting a repetitive pattern by modifying what is being done now.
Rather than accumulating explanations, the products are built around structured experiments: a different way of responding, a different sequence, a different timing, or a deliberate interruption of an automatic strategy.
03 - Act
Turn the method into something usable.
Action is where the method becomes a product.
Guided prompts, timed exercises, sequential tasks and simple feedback loops translate a systemic logic into concrete steps that can be used outside a consulting room.
04 - BUNT
The first product: BUNT.
BUNT is a structured, sequential self-guided program for recurring human difficulties that feel stuck.
It helps users identify what keeps a problem going in the present: avoidance, checking, reassurance, repeated attempts to control, relational loops and other responses that may unintentionally maintain the difficulty.
The experience then introduces carefully sequenced exercises designed to make a different response possible. The underlying logic is inspired by the systemic and strategic approach of Palo Alto.
BUNT is being designed as a multilingual product. The planned principal languages are French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Greek, Dutch, Norwegian, Danish and Swedish.
